About The Josh Robert Thompson Radio Theatre:

If old-time radio, sock puppets and Andy Kaufman had a three-way with a 1940's RCA model broadcast microphone, the resulting schizophrenic love-child would most certainly be "The Josh Robert Thompson Radio Theatre."

Raised in the wilds of Cleveland on a steady diet of late-night horror movie hosts, old-time radio re-runs and variety shows, Josh Robert Thompson ('The Late Late Show,' 'Final Fantasy XIII') is an analog man trapped in a digital world.  By the age of 9, Josh was already recording homemade radio plays in his basement and performing to sold-out crowds at the world famous Cleveland Playhouse.  After moving to Los Angeles, he soon became known for the dead-on celebrity impressions (Morgan Freeman, De Niro, Schwarzenegger) and controversial original characters (Apostle BG, Robin Sooper, Darnell the Janitor) that populate his eclectic body of work.

He's talking to himself…and that's a good thing!

Abut JRT:
Josh Robert Thompson is an analog man living in a digital world. Born in the wilds of Cleveland and raised on a steady diet of late-night horror movie hosts, old-time radio re-runs and variety shows, he religiously sports a vest and tie, half-a-can of Brylcreem in his hair, and kneels at the altar of vaudeville, ventriloquists and Johnny Carson. In his past life, he was the voice of "Fake" Arnold Schwarzenegger on "The Howard Stern Show," but now he's a mainstay on "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (of which former Carson producer, Peter Lassally, is a consultant). A schizophrenic madman of improv comedy and vocal characterization, Josh is an accomplished stand-up comedian and voice actor, known for his dead-on celebrity impressions (Schwarzenegger, De Niro, Morgan Freeman) and his controversial original characters (Robin Sooper, The Apostle BG, Darnell the Janitor). When he's talking to himself, that's a good thing.
