All this and more, much, much more will be covered by your host Bailey on The Lighter Side. Sometimes he hosts the show solo. Sometimes his oddball friends stop by to pick on and ridicule the idiots of the world. And sometimes those idiots are them. The language can get harsh. The topics are ridiculous. The host is the smartest moron you’ll ever hear. The show is…..The Lighter Side. It’s where funny goes to laugh.
Who the hell is Bailey? They said he’d never amount to anything……and boy, were they right. The youngest of nine, this 37 year old Los Angeles native discovered at a very young age by watching his father laugh at Bob Hope, Johnny Carson and Rodney Dangerfield that people loved comedians. Bailey also found out that he had the ability to make people laugh. Over the years he’s learned to do it quite well. He found that being white and the minority in his community, he needed to find someway to fit in. He found it in comedy. Class in Elementary, Junior High and High School was his stage. It was his proving ground. He soon got a reputation of being “the man” when it came to levity in the classroom. Never the class clown, Bailey saw humor as an art form. Bailey sees everyone and everything as a target including, himself. His rule on comedy is simple, if it’s funny, say it! He’s also learned that people are more accepting of information and knowledge if you deliver it with humor instead of preaching. His vast knowledge of all things dumb and useless in pop culture only adds to his arsenal of jokes. A fan of comic books, movies, Hulk Hogan, Jim McMahon, Kevin Smith and Howard Stern, Bailey might be the funniest person you never heard of. He’s anti-marriage and a father of a beautiful little girl he’s dubbed “Mini-Lee” because of how she’s very much like her him. In Bailey’s world you never know what to expect……but it will be funny. |
